About Me:
I am British, now living in Arizona (which I love!) with my (US-born) wife, Naomi. I was a professional musician for 12 years and discovered archaeology in my 30's. I went back to University (Cardiff) and got my degree in archaeology and have been attempting to find a way to make a living at it ever since. I did work as a field archaeologist for a Phoenix-based CRM firm excavating and surveying Hohokam Culture sites in and around Phoenix - until the housing crash killed off all the development.
I have spent the last year learning all about social media via a small business I set up with a graphic designer friend of mine - dudeblogyourbusiness.com
I am now working with a Boston company who produce an application called Social Smart - an all-in-one solution for launching, managing, and measuring social media campaigns. Combining search optimization, social media, and email targeting to increase search engine page-ranking, social network participation, inbound web traffic, and online conversions.
I have a son, Laurie (aka Emperor Lol to the XBox world), who is studying film production in England, and who has just been accepted to London University to study Film Production there.
I am also a member of the Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE), a non-profit organisation founded in 1931 by Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), to research and explore transpersonal subjects such as holistic health, ancient mysteries, personal spirituality, dreams and dream interpretation, intuition, and philosophy and reincarnation. I am webmaster for the Arizona Branch of the ARE - http://www.edgarcayceaz.org/
